Grading Summary
Course work will be graded using a Credit, Late, or No Credit scoring system. Please see the below rubric to determine the points a credit-assignment will contribute toward your final course grade. The course has a total of 100 points. Grades for reflections, checklists, and hours completion will be available via Canvas. They will not be publicly posted during the semester. We encourage you to check Canvas several times during the semester to verify that all completed work has been recorded correctly. Final grade assignment will use the following scale:

Additionally, IPPE reflections are intended to be representative of work submitted in a professional setting; imagine submitting a report to your future employer.
Note #1: No late assignments and no grade changes will be made after 11:59pm on the fourth week following the end of your assigned block.
Note #2: All Institutional & Elective IPPE hours must be completed during the assigned week. If hours are completed either prior-to or after the assigned week dates without course coordinator approval prior to the start of the hours, the student’s overall course grade will drop by the percentage represented in the course grading rubric above.
