Grading Summary
Course work will be graded using a Credit, Late/Incomplete/Poor Quality, or No Credit scoring system. Please see the below rubric to determine the points a credit-assignment will contribute toward your final course grade. The course has a total of 100 points. Grades for reflections, checklists, and hours completion will be available via Canvas. Grades will not be publicly posted during the semester. We encourage you to check Canvas periodically throughout the summer and fall semester to verify that all completed work has been recorded correctly. Final grade assignment will use the following scale:

| All IPPE 56 Hours Must Be Completed In Order To Pass The Course | ||||
*All assignments and submissions should be completed in a professional manner. This includes the proper use of punctuation, grammar, and complete sentences. Additionally, IPPE reflections are intended to be representative of work submitted in a professional setting and must be submitted in a typed (not handwritten) format; imagine you are submitting a report to your employer.
Note #1: No late assignments and no grade changes will be made after 11:59pm on the fourth week following the end of your assigned block.
Note #2: All Institutional & Elective IPPE hours must be completed during the assigned week. If hours are completed either prior-to or after the assigned week dates without course coordinator approval prior to the start of the hours, the student’s overall course grade will drop by one full letter grade (e.g.; A to B). This penalty will be applied for each rotation where hours were completed out of block. Please view the experiential website for assigned block dates.
Note #3: In the case a student is unable to complete the required course material(s), the Missed and Incomplete IPPE Rotation Policy may apply.
