Experiential Policies
Students are required to adhere to all Experiential Education Policies as well as the information and policies pertaining to APPE students in the General Manual. Students are responsible to be in compliance with these policies at all times.

Additional Course Policies
Student Profile. Must be updated every block. See CI Notifications in the Experiential Policies Manual for full information and instructions.
Course Platform. Students enrolled in 728-741 are required to access the course web page. This forum will be used for general course communications and any other discussions related to this course. Course resources will be listed at this website.
APPE Seminar. Students are required to attend seminars (or view online with permission) and submit applicable assignments by the due dates. Missing seminar or not submitting assignments by the due dates will result in point deductions. See the General Manual for more information.
Due Dates/Deadlines. Students are required to upload all assignments on the 728-741 course web page by 11:59pm of the last day of the block. Please note: required assignments not completed by the due date will result in point deductions at the discretion of the course coordinator.
Experiential Checklist. The Experiential Checklist is available for use as a guide but does NOT need to be uploaded at the end of the rotation.
Preceptor, Site & Course Evaluations. Students are required to complete online course evaluations located on the course web page by 11:59pm of the last day of block. Students not completing the course evaluations by the due date will receive point deductions at the discretion of the course coordinator.
Grading Discretion. If students miss deadlines and do not complete work in the timeframe assigned by the clinical instructor, both the clinical instructor and the course coordinator may adjust grades downward. Grades may also be adjusted downward at the discretion of the course coordinator after reviewing the student’s overall course performance, including issues related to non-adherence to the School’s professionalism policy.
