Policy
Intentional plagiarism is considered academic misconduct and the consequences range from an oral reprimand to suspension or expulsion from the university. (UWS 14.03 and 14.04) Students MUST comply with the following plagiarism policies:
- All students must include the journal abstract for any journal reference used to answer a clinical inquiry (information question) along with the information answer.
- Information answers may be reviewed using plagiarism detection software to determine if the answer has been plagiarized.
Students should review their paper to assure that the references are correct before submitting for evaluation.
Students should be aware of the consequences of plagiarism on the UW campus. More information may be found under Student Disciplinary Guidelines, Part I Academic Misconduct, Chapter UWS 14.
